2. Daya proteksi terhadap uap air tergolong baik, dapat didaur ulang serta baik untuk barang-barang yang memerlukan fleksibelitas tapi kuat.
3. Walaupun baik untuk tempat makanan, barang berbahan LDPE ini sulit dihancurkan.
4. Pada suhu di bawah 60°C sangat resisten terhadap senyawa kimia.
